Fees

We do not charge a fee to establish a sub-fund.

Foundation SA charges a donor administration and support fee.
These fees go directly back into our community, supporting our two core activities:

Donor support – ensuring we have the necessary resources to provide fiscal responsibility in grant due diligence, donor education, research, reporting, compliance and other activities.

Growing giving in South Australia – increasing the awareness of the need in our community and growing the number of people who give back in South Australia.

Foundation SA has a cumulative, tiered fee structure. Fees are assessed and deducted monthly based on sub-fund balances.

The breakdown of the administration fee is as follows:

Next $500,000 – $1M2.0%
Next $1M – $2.5M1.0%
Assets over $2.5M0.5%
Non-profit Future Fund1.2% on balances up to $1M.

Once a non-profit Future fund reaches a balance of $1M, the fee will follow the arrangements described for sub-funds. eg. $1M-$2.5M – 1.0% and over 2.5M – 0.5%

Investment Management Fee

Foundation SA uses professional investment advisers to invest funds under management.

The annual Investment Management Fee for this service is paid on total funds under management and therefore varies.

The Investment Management Fee is assessed and deducted monthly.

The fees range from 0.37% to 0.4%.

We can advise of the exact fee at the time of your fund establishment.
