Applications for our 2024/25 Neighbourhood Grants are now closed

What’s the aim of Foundation SA's Neighbourhood Grants?

You know what your community needs to thrive and we’d like to support you to achieve this. When we say ‘community’, we mean a community group or a community of individuals brought together by a common purpose.

The Foundation SA Neighbourhood Grants offer non-profit organisations, up to $5,000 to support acts of community connection that strengthen the bonds of neighbourhoods, led by people in their own communities.

We know this grant this size won’t change the world, but we also know that community change is about more than money.

Take a look at the inspiring stories of our 2023 grant recipients here.

Check out the Grant Guidelines here.

Thanks to our supporters

These grants have been made possible thanks to the generous support of Foundation SA fund holders including:

Better Tomorrow Fund

Colin & Kathryn Causby Fund

Como Investment Fund

Giving with Gratitude Fund

Turadh Clann

When we launched the Neighbourhood Grants in 2022, we awarded grants of up to $2,000 each. Thanks to the power of collective giving, we’re now awarding grants of up to $5,000 each.
